A massive 35 car grid greeted a damp and sometimes river like Phillip Island circuit on the weekend, with an overflowing level of excitement for the final round of the 2010 Victorian Club Championship Series, effectively known as Island Magic.
Jake Fouracre commenced the round in 2nd position with a comfortable 12 point buffer over 3rd position in the championship. Jake drove a risk free round, to finish 3rd overall and claimed 2nd in both the CAMS and Club Championship Series. For a moment, Jake thought he may have clenched the title when eventual winner, Daniel Reinhardt, fell off the track in disastrous conditions during the warm up lap of race 1.

Jake Fouracre claims 2nd position in the 2010 Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship. The 19 year old commenced the round in 3rd position, 10 points behind fellow rookie and old karting competitor, Jack Flood. The two young drivers battled it out in the first 2 races, but it was Fouracre who out-foxed Flood, beating him to the finish line on both occasions within 100 thousandths of a second.

Jake Fouracre’s stunning Formula Vee debut has attracted much talk about where his career will take him next. Fouracre currently leads the Victorian Formula Vee Club championship in a Jacer prepared by TeamPana.com, and has been identified as one of Australia’s forthcoming motorsport talents.

Clean sweep for Jake Fouracre at Mallala
Jake Fouracre scored his maiden pole position and win at Mallala on the weekend. Competing in
round 3 of the South Australian championship, Fouracre and his team used the event to prepare for
the annual Formula Vee National Challenge to be held at Mallala on 30th of October.
